At any time during the game, you can go to the merchant and buy any specific item you might need. To do so you just need coins and food, which you'll get with the castles and farms you create during the game. The more castles you have, the more coins you'll get. Farms & Castles is a fun puzzle game. Although it's really similar to the great Triple Town, it has a few relatively original features. In any case, a really great game.
